WWE Diva and reality show superstar Nikki Bella is going under the knife. The #Boobalicious brunette bombshell is out indefinitely with impending neck surgery due to a herniated disc. The injury had been a nagging one, but one that the 32-year-old finally recently addressed.
She reportedly suffered the injury performing her trademark finisher, the Rack Attack. The former Divas champion opened up about the injury in an interview with E! News, and it seems things are worse than rumors began floating about her diagnosis several weeks ago.
“I have basically a broken neck, a pretty bad herniated disk,” Bella explained. “What makes mine a little bit (more) difficult than most people is that I have some disk behind my vertebrae so with a lot of prayers we’re gonna pray that the doctors can get the piece behind my vertebrae with just a bone fusion.”
She acknowledged that the injury could be career-ending depending on the results of Wednesday’s surgery and the recovery process, which likely will take at least six months.
“There is a potential that this is career-ending,” she said. “We will only know that when I get out of surgery on Wednesday and then basically how the bone heals Wednesday. So that’s been tough but I truly have such hope that I will get to compete in that ring another day, I really do.”
